Our History

AMJ Laboratory Services Ltd was incorporated in 1990. The laboratory was originally situated in Guelph Ontario and moved to the Henderson Research Centre in 1994.

To better reflect our work, the name Hemostasis Reference Laboratory was registered with the Ontario Government and is used for all contracts, advertisements and publications.

Since our move to Hamilton, we have enjoyed steady growth and have continuously added new assays to our testing services.

Our Vision

We will be a leading provider of the highest quality hemostasis laboratory services through excellence in responding to the needs of our customers in a timely fashion.

We will strive to develop and provide assays for the advancement of science and the improvement of patient care.

The workplace will continue to provide employees with the training and experience for long-term growth opportunities.

PROCALCITONIN

Testing
The B·R·A·H·M·S PCT LIA assay has been cleared by the FDA for the early diagnosis of patients at risk for progression to severe sepsis.

HRL offers Procalcitonin (PCT) testing for research purposes. The clinical utility in select patient populations has already been identified and continued studies to discover the optimal utilization of this marker as it relates to patient management is foreseen. The availability of this FDA-cleared PCT
assay will encourage further international
